He is survived by Kaprice, their sons Josh and Trent, both Oregon State alumni, and a legacy that continues to inspire. Trent Bray, who played linebacker for the Beavers from 2002-2005, later became a coach himself, serving as linebackers coach, defensive coordinator, and eventually head coach for the Beavers. ‘He’s the reason I do what I do,’ Trent reflected. ‘He instilled in me a love for football and coaching. His influence is at the core of who I am today.’
As Oregon State’s defensive coordinator from 2000-2002, Craig Bray engineered one of the Pac-10’s most dominant defenses.
